Generally, the number of members provided by a lion dance troupe is determined based on the performance style and budget required by the family or business client. The minimum number of performers is four or five, while larger performances may involve dozens. The performance provided on a given day can be tailored to the expected performance style and objectives of the residence or business, or it can be combined with a traditional lion dance troupe performance. In other places, there are also special performances that, in addition to providing different scenes, setting off firecrackers and fireworks, also include lion dance couplets such as "Wishing you prosperity."

一般上醒獅團體隊員所提供的隊员人數是根據家庭或企業客戶所需要的表演方式和預算來確定所需要的表演隊員人數最少的有四五人次比較大型的表演可能动用到数十人当天所要提供的表演可以根據住宅或商家所預期的表演方式和目標去完成或者是跟傳統舞獅團體的表演配套在其他地方也有在另一類的特殊表演除了提供不同的場景放鞭炮放煙花也有提供醒獅對聯“恭喜發財”
