Teapot Cardigan

The Teapot Cardigan is an open front, midthigh length cardigan with top-down, seamless construction, raglan shaping, and options for hip shaping and pockets.

The cardigan is cast on at the back neck and worked flat to the hem. Sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to hem, and if you choose to add pockets to your Teapot they are worked flat and sewn on to the finished piece.

Finished bust measurement: 34 (38, 42, 46)[50, 54, 58](62, 66, 70)” / 86.5 (96.5, 107, 117)[127, 137, 147.5](157.5, 168, 178) cm at the bust.

Choose a size with 4-6” / 10-15cm of positive ease.

Yarn: Knit Picks Swish Bulky, or other bulky weight yarn, approx. 750 (875, 975, 1100)[1200, 1300, 1420](1550, 1650, 1750) yards / 690 (800, 895, 1000)[1100, 1200, 1300](1420, 1510, 1600) meters. Sample shown in Dublin colorway.

Gauge: 14 stitches and 20 rows in 4”/10cm with larger needle in stockinette stitch.

Needles: US #9 / 5.5mm and US #10.5 / 6.5mm circular— or size needed to obtain gauge.
