A Mother’s Prayer Is Never Too Small
There are moments when a mother realizes that she cannot be everywhere her children are.
She cannot always protect them from disappointment, choose their friends, make every decision for them, or walk every step of their journey. But there is one thing she can always do—pray.
My own journey through motherhood has taught me this in a deeply personal way.
There have been moments when I have felt [share a personal challenge you experienced as a mother—fear, uncertainty, financial pressure, a difficult season, concern for your children, or simply the challenges of raising them]. I have had moments when I wished I could take every difficulty away from my children, protect them from every hurt, and guarantee that everything would work out perfectly.
But motherhood taught me something I will never forget: I cannot control everything that happens in my children’s lives, but I can place them in God’s hands.
I remember [insert a specific personal motherhood moment or story here]. That experience changed the way I prayed for my children. I began to understand that prayer was not simply something I turned to when things went wrong. Prayer became part of my everyday motherhood.
I prayed when I was worried.
I prayed when I was grateful.
I prayed when I didn't know what to do.
I prayed when I needed wisdom.
And sometimes, I simply prayed, “Lord, please watch over my children.”
That is where the inspiration for Prayer for My Children began.
I created this ebook for mothers who, like me, have discovered that raising children comes with both beautiful moments and moments that stretch our faith.
These prayers are for the ordinary days and the difficult ones. For mornings when your child leaves for school, for nights when your heart is worried, and for seasons when your children are finding their identity, facing challenges, making choices, or stepping into a future you cannot yet see.
This is not a book about being a perfect mother.
It is about being a mother who can say:
“Lord, I may not have all the answers, but I trust You with my children.”
Inside these pages, you will find prayers for protection, wisdom, courage, good friendships, health, purpose, faith, emotional strength, and the future of your children.
You can read one prayer each day, return to a particular prayer when you need it, or use these words as inspiration for your own conversations with God.
Whether your children are little or grown, living beside you or far away, a mother’s heart never stops caring.
So, before you worry—pray.
Before you fear—pray.
Before you give up—pray.
And when your heart is grateful—pray.
My hope is that these pages become a quiet place where you can release your worries, strengthen your faith, and remember that your prayers can continue reaching your children even when your hands cannot.
This book comes from my heart as a mother to yours.
May every prayer remind you that you do not have to carry motherhood alone.
With love and faith,
Anabel Solomon
