Gullplutt Collar is a quick-to-knit and cozy dickey featuring a classic cable and a high turtleneck. The pattern is beginner-friendly but yields a professional result thanks to the cable detail.

Good to know before you start:

Techniques: The dickey is worked back and forth on circular needles. The front and back pieces are worked separately and seamed at the shoulders. Stitches for the turtleneck are picked up afterwards.

Materials & info:

Sizes: 2-4 years (6 years) 8-10 years.

Yarn: 2 (2) 3 balls of Novita Wonder Wool DK (50 g / approx. 112 m) and 1 (1) 2 balls of Novita Tuuli (25 g / approx. 225 m) held together.

Gauge: approx. 17 sts in stockinette stitch on 5 mm (US 8) needles = 10 cm (4").

Needles: 4 mm (US 6) circular needles (80 cm / Magic Loop) for the ribbing and 5 mm (US 8) circular needles (80 cm) for the front and back pieces.

Notions: A cable needle, a tapestry needle to weave in ends, and stitch markers to optionally divide the cable repeats in the chart. Row counter.
