In this playful follow-up to Buddy Bear's Busy Day, Buddy invites little ones to count along with him — from one sunshine-y sun all the way up to ten sparkly stars. Every number gets its own colorful page, with big, bold numerals, a matching number word, and a set of cheerful pictures (balloons, flowers, apples, bunnies, fish, and more) that toddlers can point to and count out loud.

Once counting feels comfortable, the book gently introduces first addition — simple, visual equations like "2 + 1 = 3" and "2 + 3 = 5," shown as two small groups of objects coming together, with an easy caption explaining what happened.
