A Christmas Surprise for the Ice Cat

He’s been traded to Miami to help win a Stanley Cup…

Christian Lopez has one job: Play hockey, help the Miami Ice Cats win, and stay focused on the ice.

Then he meets Sigrid Johansen.

She’s smart, beautiful, and the social media manager for his new team. She’s also hockey royalty—the niece of his head coach and daughter of a legendary player—which means falling for her could complicate his career in more ways than one.

But Christian has already fallen hard.

And then there’s Highlight, the ridiculously adorable kitten who has somehow stolen his heart almost as quickly as her cat sitter.

She’s just trying to prove she belongs.

Sigrid Johansen has spent her life surrounded by hockey legends. She knows exactly what people will think when the new player falls for her.

That she used her family connections.

That she doesn't belong in the job she's worked hard to earn.

That Christian transferred to Miami because of her.

When a viral kiss turns their private relationship into public speculation, the pressure threatens both their careers. But there may be one solution that solves everything.

A Christmas wedding could put the rumors to rest, give Christian a home with Sigrid and Highlight, and prove to the world they're serious.

An engagement seems like the perfect solution. But somewhere between the hockey rink, beach walks, Christmas chaos, and one very persuasive kitten, their quick fix starts looking a lot like forever.

Because sometimes the biggest surprise isn't falling in love. It's discovering you've already found home.
