Minecraft Pre-Play Checklist for Parents | Free Multiplayer, Chat & Spending PDF | Ages 7-13

Set up solo play first. Add online play deliberately.

Minecraft parental controls do not live in one Minecraft dashboard. Important decisions are split across the child's Microsoft account, Xbox privacy settings, Minecraft, and the phone, tablet, computer, or console.

The free Minecraft Pre-Play Checklist gives parents a calm way to choose the starting play mode and verify the settings that matter before regular play begins.

SCOPE

This is a pre-play checklist, not a complete device-by-device walkthrough. Java Edition, mods, independently operated servers, and older versions can behave differently. Minecraft, Microsoft, Xbox, and device interfaces can change; verify important settings on the child's actual account and device.
