Summer Art Project Activity Ice Cream Art Writing Prompts Reading Comprehension
This Summer Ice Cream Art Project is a complete art and literacy lesson for elementary classrooms and homeschool families. Students work through a summer-themed reading passage and writing prompt, then use oil pastels on construction paper to create playful, colorful ice cream artwork.
Detailed lesson plans, step-by-step guides, example artwork and ready-to-use PowerPoint slides help you guide students through oil pastel blending, shading and expressive design. The art is inspired by the style of the Ms Artastic YouTube Channel.
