AI Agents — Book 8 · The Agent Team
"Multi-agent" is the most oversold phrase in the subject and it describes something genuinely useful, so this book is careful about both. An orchestrator that decides the subtasks at run time, workers carrying complete standalone briefs, and the synthesis step where almost every team actually fails — give it four named jobs rather than "combine these", and make it the longest prompt in the system. Plus an evaluator with a hard round cap, the real cost multiplier, and four honest signs that one good agent would have done better for a sixth of the money.
