The story of the La Mendola surname: the fruit that gave the surname its name and the nickname born among the almond groves, why there is a “La” in front of the name, Sicily's almond country and the villages where the surname took root, the map of the La Mendolas in Italy, the countries emigration took them to, the tree that blossoms in the depths of winter and the festival that celebrates it, and an honest page about the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
