The first movement, stasis in stained glass, imagines a scene frozen in a mosaic window, unmoving but casting tinted glows throughout the air. FIZZ AND FIREWORKS is a contrasting dance, forged in the sweat of a late-night festival. It evokes the blur of neon lights at a party past midnight or the glitter of an exploding firework.
