The ordering process
When purchasing this pre-made eBook cover, you will initially be provided with the dummy file, as seen in the product listing.
Unfortunately, Payhip hasn't been built to let me make these changes prior to your file being delivered. Hence the below.
What happens next
Once the below information has been filled in as part of the payment process, I will receive the order, make your amends within 48 hours of the payment being received (normally less than that, depending on my workload), and will send you the JPG file, ready with the text changes you've specified.
So, what text changes can I make?
On checkout, you will be asked for:
1 - Your book title
2 - Your author name
3 - Your tag line/pull quote (which replaces the "Your tagline goes here")
4 - Any additional achievements/awards (which replaces the "New York Times bestselling author" text)
5 - The email address you wish for the amended eBook cover to be sent to
Remember - For options 3 or 4, if neither apply, or you would like them removed, simply put "N/A" in the answer.
The important bits
1 - Once a cover has been purchased, no-one else will be able to download it. I have a set a limit to one purchase per cover. However, the cover will be used on the portfolio section of my website, but only when your book is published.
If you do not wish for this to happen, let me know by emailing hello@rphauthor.co.uk, detailing the cover code and your author name.
2 - If your book title is longer than the one shown in the product listing, I will do everything I can to incorporate it into the design, without it impacting the quality of the work. However, please bear in mind, longer titles will have an impact on size and layout, this is just part of the process. Same with your author name and any pull quotes/straplines/awards or achievements
3 - Unfortunately, no refunds are given. There is work that goes on behind the scenes for getting the products added to my Payhip store, and also promoted on my website.
4 - All images and fonts used are freely available and can be used commercially. This does that mean that others will be able to use and adapt them as they see fit. Exclusive photography, models and images are extremely expensive, and I am trying to make this service affordable for authors.
5 - All JPG files are 1563 pixels x 2500 pixels, which are the specifications for Amazon Kindle, but these can also be used on other ebook services. I will also send over a file that is 500 pixels by 800 pixels, included in the price, to help you promote your book on social media
6 - The only changes I'm able to make are the ones that are specified as part of the check out process. No colour/font/image etc changes will be made
7 - Unfortunately at this stage of my creative journey, I am only offering premade ebook cover designs. Once my workload and times allow, I may branch out into print cover design.
