Be Still And Know

This painting reflects my journey through God’s refining fire in my life.

The image of the Holy Spirit descending as a dove over outstretched hands captures a moment of surrender, of reaching upward and opening ourselves to His presence. The golden light behind the dove symbolizes the illumination and peace that comes when we pause, be still, and allow God to move within us.

Creating this piece was a long journey, a process that mirrored the refining work God does in our lives. Just as He strips away the old, shapes, and moulds us through trials, challenges, and quiet moments of reflection, this painting emerged through persistence, patience, and His guiding hand.

Every brushstroke is a reminder that growth often comes through refinement, and true beauty comes from surrendering to His transformative love.
