The Watershed scarf is worked flat from end to end, with cables that diverge and converge, like water flowing through a watershed, against a garter stitch background that represents the land.

Pattern includes both charted and written instructions. Techniques required: cables.

Gauge 

19.5 sts x 28.5 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking

23.5 sts x 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm over Chart A, after blocking

23.5 sts x 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm over Chart B, after blocking

Needles

US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long or straight needles

Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain correct gauge after blocking.
