Family

Family, created in 2010 by John Robert Beck, is part of a distinctive series that merges abstract art with the visual power of Kanji symbolism. In this piece, the Kanji symbol for Family stretches across a richly textured field of luminous purples, reds, blues, and glowing gold accents. The layered forms and flowing movement suggest closeness, support, and the lasting ties that bind people together. The result is a bold and expressive artwork that celebrates family as both a personal bond and a universal idea.
