My Emotion House Worksheet
My Emotion House | Emotional Awareness Worksheet
Help students explore their feelings with this creative, house-themed worksheet. Each part of the house includes a prompt that encourages students to reflect on their emotions, what influences them, and what helps them feel safe and supported.
From the feelings they hide in the “basement” to the ones they let others see through the “front door,” this activity provides a starting point for meaningful conversations.
Students will explore:
Feelings they experience often, keep private, or avoid.
Stressors that influence their emotions.
Ways to calm down, reset, and care for themselves.
People and supports they can turn to.
What their emotions might be telling them and healthy ways to respond.
What’s included: One black-and-white worksheet featuring an emotion house with guided prompts, writing spaces, and three closing reflection questions.
Use with middle and high school students during individual counseling, small groups, or social-emotional learning activities. Students can work through one section at a time and share at their own comfort level.
