Furballs Going Nowhere Sock Knitting Pattern
designed by Tomato 68 for Knotions Magazine
The name of the sock, Furballs Going Nowhere, is a free association adapted from surrealism. Don’t put too much thought into it – there is nothing related to the visual presentation of the sock.
The sock is a simple toe up sock with a gusset for a better fit around the ankle. The instep of the sock has simple stranded colorwork. The colorwork is only on the foot of the sock, where a sock has less of a need to stretch. The back of the leg features a decorative rib, also for a better fit.
The colorwork and the ribbing make it an interesting sock to knit, and the heavier weight of yarn (DK) makes the sock come together quickly! Pick two of your favorite colors and cast on Furballs Going Nowhere today!
