Easter Bunny Art Project Easter Bunny Hiding Eggs Drawing Lesson Spring Art
This Easter Bunny Hiding Eggs Art Lesson guides students step by step through drawing an adorable bunny from behind as it hides colorful Easter eggs in a spring garden. The project combines drawing, oil pastel coloring and watercolor painting for a bright seasonal artwork.
It is made for elementary art teachers, classroom teachers integrating art, homeschool educators and substitute teacher plans. The step-by-step structure is easy to follow, and students still personalize their eggs, flowers and colors so every artwork looks different. It fits Easter art lessons, spring art units, mixed media lessons and spring bulletin board displays.

Along the way they practice drawing, pattern design, shading and color blending, and explore the elements of art: line, shape, color, texture and space.
Materials: pencil and eraser, black permanent marker or fine liner, oil pastels, watercolor paint, paint cakes or diluted tempera paint, paint brush and water, and cardstock or watercolor paper.
