Ilyushin IL-18GrM Cargo

The IL-18GrM is a rare piece because very few of these models were modified for cargo hauling. Aerocaribbean, a Cuban regional airline, flew one of these by many years, which was in fact the last IL-18 operated on the island. The cargo zone on this variant ends at the rear passenger door; the rear passenger cabin remains available for additional crew. The main modification is a big cargo door in the left-front part of the fuselage and a reinforced floor for cargo operations. The rest is the same as the regular airliner.

This model was designed taking special care in the flight dynamics. As this kind of machine usually needs a crew of four, the systems have been simplified for better usage for one simmer. Many failures can occur due to bad procedures, so it is recommended to read the documentation provided for a better flight experience. Notice: The first version of this cargo version (1.0) was released with a modelling error in the front baggage door, so be sure to not use it but any subsequent releases.

This is a virtual replica (software) of the actual aircraft, and only works over MS Flight Simulators platforms or subsequent developments. This is a standalone product, but can be used to update any of the previous versions, if applies. It is compatible with FS9, FSX and FSX:SE; and uses 14MB of extra space in the Hard Drive.
