Perfect for layering, draping and wrapping, the Fluffy Stripes Shawl is knitted lengthwise as a long

crescent shape. Beginning with one narrow end, the shawl is gradually increased to full depth. A

single centre segment is worked, followed by decreases to match the increases.

The contrast shade stripes are knitted with Walcot Yarns Fluff. These textured stripes are placed

between smooth sections of stocking stitch worked in the main yarn, Walcot Yarns Opus. As the

shawl widens, the stripes gradually increase in length. The contrast yarn is also used to cast on and

cast off the scalloped edging pattern, creating fluffy edges to the openings between each scallop.

The scallop flaps are worked in garter stitch.
