The following resource was designed with the objective of gradually building up our children’s Quranic Arabic vocab, in a way that supports their hifdh إن شاء الله.

The child copies out an ayah they are memorizing or have recently memorized along with the translation of the meaning. Then they choose a word they are curious to investigate further and look up the translation in Study the Noble Quran Word for Word (Darussalam) or a similar resource.

They may also wish to look up the tafsir of the ayah, as this often sheds further light on the meaning of the word in this particular context.

Since Arabic is a built on root letters there is space to add these. Likewise, we’ve included a section for further notes, be they grammar or tafsir related.
