Main St 6V6 Trem

This is a license key for Main St 6V6 Trem. It is not the plugin.

The plugin is free. Download it at mainstaudiolabs.github.io — VST3 for Windows, macOS and Linux, plus Audio Unit on macOS. It is complete: nothing is locked, limited, time-limited or watermarked, with or without a key. Try it first. If it is not for you, you have lost nothing.

What the key does. It removes the five-second window that appears the first time you open the plugin in a session. That is the whole difference.

What you actually get. A key by email and on your order page. It works offline, it never expires, and it survives reinstalling, updating and changing computers. One key, this plugin, forever.

Why this exists. Main St 6V6 Trem is a real bias tremolo, solved as a circuit: a 12AX7 oscillator moving the bias of a push-pull pair of 6V6 power tubes, with their output transformer and a GZ34 supply — the tremolo of a 1964 blackface amp, taken out and built into a pedal. The tubes make the pulse, so it is round and warm, it breathes with your playing, and each valley gets a little dirty. SMOOTH is the original circuit; DEEP goes all the way down to silence. It is given away because that is how it should be, and this is the way to say thanks if it earns its place in your music.
