The Autumnal Socks is one of four patterns in the “A New Home” Collection, a collection of fingering weight patterns inspired by my new home: North Carolina. Join the North Carolina Knit-A-Long here, through Jan 31st, 2021!
10% of pattern sale profits Nov 21 - Dec 21 will go to NC Coalition to End Homelessness to help the homeless in North Carolina.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
Fun to knit, a joy to wear. The Autumnal Socks feature a faux cable leaf motif that runs along the edge of each foot, from the toe to the cuff. It also features a stunning branch motif (using slipped cross stitches) along the inside of each leg, running from the ankle up to the cuff.
The pattern includes a variety of customization options, with instructions for: square toe or rounded toe, short row wrap and turn heel or afterthought heel, and ankle height or calf height. It also includes instructions to help you achieve the perfect sock length.
This pattern is toe up. Learn more about the design inspiration, knitting experience, and wearing experience here.
The pattern includes two separate PDF files: one with the written instructions and one with the charted instructions.

Note: due to some computer issues this week, I was unable to upload the video with instructions on adjusting the width of the calf. That video should be up early next week; when it is available, I’ll send an updated copy of the pattern with that tutorial linked.
