First Five Notes Worksheets

Elevate your band's knowledge of the first 5 notes of the B-flat major scale! Many students memorize the staff for the first time as members of the school band. Help them memorize their first 5 notes with these quiz sheets!

WHAT YOU GET:

• 4 worksheets per beginner band instrument (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Glockenspiel) totaling 24 worksheets in total.

HOW TO USE:

• Pass out the first worksheet in each set to students, and have them label as many notes as they can in 1 minute or less. Repeat the process with the next worksheet in the set.
• You can mix up which sheets you pass out! Flute and Glockenspiel players can fill out the Trumpet or Clarinet sheet to memorize the bottom of the staff, or vice-versa!

Note that these sheets exclusively cover the first five notes of the B-Flat Major Scale, so as to be conducive to a typical band classroom.
