Equations and Inequalities Practice: Bundle 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Math Games
This bundle is here to help you gather what you need for engaging your 4th grade, 5th grade or 6th grade math students.
Within these math games to improve your students' math skills, students will be rolling dice and substituting the variables with the numbers that they roll. Each activity has a series of either equations or inequalities while at the same time practicing a variety of skills, such as order of operations (PEMDAS), the distributive property, square numbers and cube numbers.
For the activities involving equations, there are two players. Each student has one die. They will take turns rolling and whichever number they get, they will plug into the equation. After they plug into each equation, they will add up their answers together and whoever gets the highest answer, wins the game.
Check the video preview above for a demonstration of the game.
For the games involving inequalities, the students will take turns rolling two dice. Then, they will add the two numbers and plug it in for "X". After they plug it in, they need to make sure that the solution satisfies the inequality. If so, they will move a game piece up a spot on their game boards. Whoever gets to the finish spot on the board, wins the game.
