Beginner Meditation Ritual
Many people think meditation means emptying your mind completely and not having thoughts at all but in this form of meditation you aren't trying to stop your thoughts.
You are observing them while you are practicing breathing.
You learn to identify your thoughts and feelings but then label and take a moment to stop, observe, and place an intention before you do anything else.
This brings you into the present moment where you are an observer of the thought and not allowing yourself to become the thought.
