ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Going to the Mountains Poncho is a fun, engaging knit that creates the coziest, snuggliest winter accessory – perfect for a weekend in the mountains! It’s basically a perfect-fitting blanket.

The design features crossed slipped stitches representing the mountains, which are surrounded with colorwork motifs representing dirt hiking trails and falling snow. The flow of the colorwork is rhythmic and relaxing, and the slipped cross stitch texture adds interest to the project.

This pattern is worked top down. Learn more about the design inspiration, knitting experience, and wearing experience here.

This pattern includes both written and charted instructions as 2 separate PDF files.
