PLATO RACING TAKES A FIRST WIN

After a struggle at Thruxton the Plato team took its first BTCC win at Knockhill, and claimed podiums in every race over the weekend. Jason Plato, Dan Rowbottom and race winner Adam Morgan spoke to Touring Car Magazine about how the transformation came about, and what it meant emotionally.

Naturally, there is the latest coverage with a multi-page look at the latest around the team going into administration.

BENSLEY IS BACK

Ryan Bensley returns to the BTCC with Speedworks Toyota. After his first weekend with the team he told us how he plans to remain in the series for a while yet.

MOFFATOGRAPHY

After a race two prang at Knockhill, we shoved a camera into the hands of Aiden Moffat. The first BTCC driver to shoot for the magazine!

MAGNIFICENT SEVEN

TCR UK might be suffering from smaller grids this year, but that doesn’t mean the title race is between a couple of drivers. We look at the seven drivers with a real chance of title glory with only seven races to go.

ON THE EDGE

The FIA TCR World Tour continues to race in front of empty grandstands, and isn’t attracting worldwide attention. Will the current iteration of international Touring Car racing survive in its current form? It’s a discussion that’s needed, and we have that.

THE CAR IN FRONT IS A TOYOTA

Toyota’s Supercar project has had more success in its first season than Volvo, Nissan or Erebus Mercedes in their first seasons. Does that mean the GM/Ford duopoly in Australia is finally under threat with a third marque in the mix?

TV TIMES

The BTCC has renewed its TV contract for live UK coverage on ITV4, but at what point does the championship start to consider a post-TV future, and will that scenario utilise free or paid streams?
