Finding appropriate housing with pets is a major problem here in the U.S., and is one of the main reasons for the current crisis we’re experiencing.

People are losing their livelihoods and homes. Some are living out of their cars with their dogs - simply because they couldn't bear the idea of giving up or losing their fur-mily member (these are my people).

Animals are being dumped in random neighborhoods and remote areas, re-homed, abandoned at shelters- even losing their lives for the sake of space at alarming rates. 

If you're looking into all you can do to keep your animal companion with you, I want to personally commend you for taking the steps to honor this commitment you made to your animal companion(s).

I created a this Renter's Profile for myself and my pack of 4 dogs when we were forced to sell our beloved home of 12 years, thanks to the economic impact the pandemic and it's aftermath had on my business. I saw, first-hand, how difficult it was to find a home to rent with a dog... let a lone a pack of them. So, I created something that would answer any potential question marks the landlords may have and put their minds at ease.

Landlords don’t know who you are, what kind of lifestyle you lead, what your pets are like, how clean and maintained you keep your home, whether or not you’ll be able to afford rent consistently for the duration of your lease, or the level of responsibility and care you take when it comes to your pets. This profile will fill in all those blanks for them.

The goal of this Renter’s Profile is to:

• build trust, 
• develop a level of familiarity,
• remove concern,
• reduce risk (from their perspective), and
• give them a better feel for who the people and animals are who’ll be occupying the home.
