Sunshine and Shadow Patchwork Quilt Double

This double quilt in sunny yellows and shadowy grays has been years in the making.

Fabric pieces gathered over 4 years, always second hand, recycled/waste or rescued, never new.

Hand cut patches have been machine pieced in the weeks before Christmas 2025. Hand stitched, slowly and gently over the months since. Cotton patchwork top, bamboo/cotton/silk blended batting, cotton print back. I use bamboo because its very good at keeping you warm in winter, but cool in summer.

This quilt is hand stitched with waxed cotton thread, and bound with a mustard bias binding, again, hand stitched.

Made to last a lifetime.

All my quilts are always made using reclaimed/recycled/waste fabric and I am passionate about a conscious return to using natural materials over man-made. #PlasticFreeSleep

Measurements are aprox 172cm x 218cm.
