Largemouth bass earned their nickname honestly. That mouth can open wide enough to swallow prey half their size, striking from below with the kind of precision that comes from being an ambush predator for millions of years. Bucket Mouth took that patience and put it in a helicopter. Freshwater fish are facing extinction, with populations declining by 83% over the last 50 years. The water is either disappearing or dirtier. The United States has lost more than half of its wetlands since the early 1600s, over 110 million acres gone. Bucket Mouth doesn't have much to say about it anymore. He hovers over what used to be home.
