Cell No. 3
In February 2024, my American friend asked me about the famine, bombing, and destruction in northern Gaza. He wanted to know how we live here. I tried to describe or express what we are experiencing during the war. I couldn't find a suitable description or expression. I told him one sentence: "I am afraid, hungry, thirsty, cold, and my body is shivering." Even though he is my best friend, he didn't feel what I said! How could someone living in the United States feel what we are experiencing here? Each word in that sentence would require a book to describe it, and only someone who has lived it can understand it.
What if fear, hunger, thirst, and cold came together?
Through the events of this novel, the author attempts to describe some of the moments he experienced with his family in northern Gaza during the war.
The author then describes the years after the war and how the war will affect future generations.
The events of this novel will take you from fear to love, hope, ambition, and finally, to happiness. This is what the writer means.
