HOW TO DEAL WITH DISCOURAGERS

The Voice That Laughed Was in Her Own House. Today She Is Pregnant.

How to stop the people around you from stopping what God is doing in your life

Ruth’s husband is a medical doctor. When she told him she was going to work with me, he laughed — his training told him their case was medically hopeless, and she cried herself to sleep every night.

She used the masterclass for two months. Today, to the glory of God, she is pregnant. The doctor in the house had to change his report.

Beloved, the voice that laughed was not a stranger’s. It was the voice of the man she loved, in her own home.

Is someone close to you discouraging you?

Maybe it is a friend who never has anything good to say about you. No matter what you do, she will always look for the bad side of it.

Maybe it is family. You shared your dream, and they laughed. You told them what God said, and they told you, “You are not able.” You are trying for a baby, and every visit ends with a question that leaves you in tears.

Maybe it is the report. The doctor said impossible. The age says too late. The years say give up.

David knew this pain. The first person who tried to stop him from facing Goliath was not a Philistine. It was his own brother.

What happens if you do not deal with it?

Discouragers do not need you to fail. They only need you to STOP.

You stop sharing your dreams. You stop praying about the thing that matters most. You lie awake rehearsing conversations, explaining yourself over and over to someone who will never agree. You carry an offence that quietly keeps a door shut. You take counsel that sounds wise but leads you away from God. Or you run away from God, just when you need to run to Him.

The Bible tells us what discouragement cost Israel. Ten spies spoke against the land God had already given, and “they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them” (Numbers 32:9). A whole generation never entered. Not because God said no — because they listened to the wrong voices. Do not let that be your story.

The solution: How to Deal with Discouragers

In this book, I show you, from Scripture and from real testimonies, how to:

Guard your heart. Recognise a discourager, tell the difference between discouragement and wise correction, forgive without losing your discernment, and stop replaying hurtful words.

Set wise boundaries. Learn from David, who “turned from him toward another” and kept going; be wise about whom you tell; and see how God frustrates the counsel taken against you.

Keep moving with God. Bring every report back to God, come boldly to the throne of grace, pray into the matter in the Spirit, strengthen yourself in the Lord, and find the people who strengthen your hands.

Every chapter is full of Scripture, every declaration carries its chapter and verse, and the book closes with Forty Days of Saying to speak over your own life.

And it is full of testimonies, like these:

Agnes was diagnosed with premature menopause at twenty-nine and told motherhood was impossible. She delivered twin girls. Zero became two.

Mrs Chiney Baileys was forty-eight. Because of what people would say, she read Who Said You Are Too Old to Conceive? Hidden inside another book. She gave birth at forty-nine.

Mrs Tinu came after years of infertility, carrying an offence in her heart. God gave her the grace to forgive — and within three months she conceived. Today she has two boys.

Through this ministry, more than 1,000 miracle babies have been testified to. The same God who silenced the discouragers in their lives is ready to do it in yours.

Don’t run away from God. Run to God.
