Personalized educational guidance to help you understand your child's needs and confidently determine the next steps.
Sometimes you know your child needs additional support, more challenge, or a different approach, but you're not sure what to do next.
The Be the Light Parent Education Consultation gives you dedicated time with an experienced educator to discuss your child's academic strengths, challenges, learning needs, and goals.
During our 45-minute virtual consultation, we'll talk through your concerns, review relevant educational information, and identify practical next steps you can use at home or discuss with your child's school.
Every child learns differently, and educational support should never be one size fits all.

• IEP and 504 questions from an educator's perspective
• Preparing for parent-teacher or school meetings
• Homework and study routines
• Grade-level expectations
• Learning goals and academic planning
• Homeschool support

With 15 years of experience in education, I have worked with students across a variety of learning needs and ability levels. My background includes general education, special education, behavioral support, international education, curriculum and instruction, tutoring, and working with advanced learners.
My approach is centered on understanding the individual child rather than using a one-size-fits-all solution. My goal is to help parents better understand what they're seeing academically and identify practical ways to move forward.
