Shiftline District — Book 1

The Wolf in Apartment 9

Some apartment doors should stay closed. Some secrets refuse to.

Welcome to Shiftline District, where old buildings remember more than their tenants do, ordinary hallways can hide impossible things, and every locked door has a story.

In The Wolf in Apartment 9, the first book in the Shiftline District series, a seemingly ordinary apartment building becomes the center of a mystery that refuses to stay behind closed doors.

Mara knows something isn't right.

Strange occurrences begin piling up. Questions about the building lead to more questions instead of answers. People know things they aren't saying. And somewhere beneath the rumors, missing pieces, and carefully guarded secrets is a truth connected to Apartment 9.

Then there is the wolf.

Finding out what it is—and why it matters—pulls Mara into a mystery much larger than one apartment. With danger hiding behind familiar faces and clues pointing toward secrets buried long before she arrived, she must decide who can be trusted before she discovers something that was never meant to be found.

And some mysteries don't end when the door closes.

Enter the Shiftline District

The Wolf in Apartment 9 begins an interconnected series of mysteries, strange discoveries, hidden histories, supernatural possibilities, and characters whose secrets reach far beyond a single building.
