Sailing — Jaya Khoobsurat

Inspired by the beauty and vastness of the ocean, Sailing grew from my deep connection with the sea and the sense of peace, freedom and belonging I have always found near the water.

Originally released on Coloured Wings (1998), the song expresses the heart's longing to be close to the ocean — a place to breathe, reflect and simply be. Sailing captures that feeling of being carried by the water, with the horizon open ahead and the world momentarily falling away.
