Vivaldi Winter IV.
The fourth and final painting in my Vivaldi – Winter series captures the quiet, piercing chill of winter’s coldest moments.
The dancer bends low, knees slightly bent with one leg crossed before the other, arms wrapped tightly around her front leg in a protective embrace.
Her hair whips upward, lifted dramatically by an icy gust, while beneath her feet intricate ice flowers bloom across the snowy ground — delicate yet unyielding in the freezing air.
The same fluid, organic acrylic background of pale blues, whites, and grays continues the series’ ethereal, wintry atmosphere, perfectly evoking Vivaldi’s shivering melodies in visual form.
This modern, expressive work completes the series with an intimate, poignant depiction of winter’s stark beauty and the human spirit’s resilience.
