NUX MG-30 Gen2 CLASS A30 Deep Image — 15 Patches

A new generation of CLASS A30 presets, created specifically for the NUX MG-30 Gen2 V6 and its Deep Image technology. The CLASS A30 amp can also be replaced with your preferred NAM A2 capture, giving you the flexibility to use the amp capture of your choice while keeping the preset's effects, signal chain and Scenes.

15 Patches × 3 Scenes = 45 Individually Programmed Sounds

Each of the 15 CLASS A30 patches includes 3 individually programmed Scenes, giving you 45 distinct, ready-to-use sounds.

Nux Deep Image: Multi-Layer Capture + Physical Modeling combines captured tonal characteristics with modeling designed to preserve the amp's response and feel across different playing dynamics.

Each patch is carefully programmed with its effects, signal chain, Scenes, and footswitch assignments, giving you ready-to-use sounds.

🎸 Our presets feature preamp and cabinet simulators, and they are designed for direct recording on a computer and for live performances connected directly to a mixer/PA system. For monitoring purposes during live shows, you can use stage audio monitors, FRFR monitors or headphones.

CLASS A30 Deep Image Patches

All patches include the Studio Compressor positioned after the CLASS A30 amp.

Preset 01 — CLASS A30 Two Stacked Delays

Three versatile Scenes built around the Horseman OD, chorus, and two stacked delays — a mono delay plus the stereo Duotime delay.

Scene 01: Horseman OD + Chorus + Mono Delay + Duotime Stereo Delay + Reverb.

Scene 02: Horseman OD with increased drive + Chorus + both delays for a more driven and spacious sound.

Scene 03: Horseman OD off + Tremolo + both delays for a clean, atmospheric modulation sound.

Preset 02 — CLASS A30 Glory OD, Detune & Dotted 8th

A versatile combination of Glory OD, Detune, and dotted 8th delay, covering ambient, driven and rhythmic applications.

Scene 01: Glory OD + Detune + Mono Dotted 8th Delay + Damp Reverb.

Scene 02: Glory OD with maximum drive + Mono Octave, with the delay turned off for a more aggressive sound.

Scene 03: Same gain setup as Scene 02, now with a Mono Dotted 8th Digital Delay for added rhythmic definition.

Preset 03 — CLASS A30 Horseman OD, Delay & Shimmer

A spacious ambient preset combining Horseman OD, Chorus, Duotime Stereo Delay and Shimmer, with three levels of ambience and gain.

Scene 01: Horseman OD + Chorus + Duotime Stereo Delay + Shimmer.

Scene 02: Same effects setup as Scene 01, but with a clean tone and the Horseman OD turned off.

Scene 03: Clean tone with the Shimmer turned off for a more natural clean sound while retaining the spacious delay texture.

Preset 04 — CLASS A30 Horseman OD Lead

A lead preset with three gain stages, designed to move from a moderately driven lead tone to a higher-gain sound.

Scene 01: Horseman OD with Gain at 14:00 + Chorus + Reverb.

Scene 02: Same lead tone with the Delay activated for additional sustain and space.

Scene 03: Horseman OD with Gain at 16:00 + Chorus + Reverb for a higher-gain lead sound.

Preset 05 — CLASS A30 Freeze, Shimmer & Overdrive

An ambient preset built around the RVB HF Freeze effect, combining infinite-sustain textures with stereo delay, Shimmer and different overdrive options.

Scene 01: Freeze + Horseman OD + Chorus + Duotime Stereo Delay + Shimmer.

Scene 02: Same ambient setup with a clean tone and the Horseman OD turned off.

Scene 03: Same configuration as Scene 01, but with the Full-OD (OCD-style) replacing the Horseman for a different overdrive character.

Preset 06 — CLASS A30 Rhythm & Lead

A versatile rhythm-to-lead preset using the CLASS A30's own gain structure, with additional gain and volume changes between Scenes.

Scene 01: CLASS A30 with Gain at maximum + Room Reverb for a powerful rhythm tone.

Scene 02: Crunch/Lead setup with increased amp volume + Damp Reverb for a more pronounced lead sound.

Scene 03: Same setup as Scene 02 with the Horseman OD and Delay activated, providing additional gain and space for solos.

Preset 07 — CLASS A30 TS + Full-OD

A flexible overdrive preset combining TS-style overdrive, Full-OD (OCD-style), Tape Echo and reverb, with three different approaches to rhythm, riffs and lead playing.

Scene 01: TS + Full-OD + Tape Echo + Damp Reverb for a driven, layered sound.

Scene 02: Reduced TS boost + Room Reverb for a tighter rhythm/riff tone.

Scene 03: Full-OD used as a clean boost with Gain at 0 + Tape Echo + Damp Reverb, providing additional push and definition without adding significant distortion.

Preset 08 — CLASS A30 ODR Clean & Drive

A versatile preset built around the ODR-style overdrive and a clean CLASS A30, ranging from transparent overdrive to completely clean tones.

Scene 01: Transparent ODR-style overdrive into the clean CLASS A30 + Chorus + PAN Delay + Damp Reverb.

Scene 02: ODR-style overdrive with Gain at 15:00 for a more aggressive and responsive drive sound.

Scene 03: Clean CLASS A30 with the ODR turned off.

Preset 09 — CLASS A30 Tremolo DRG

A modulation-focused preset featuring the same deep, rhythmic Tremolo across all three Scenes, combined with different modulation effects.

Scene 01: CLASS A30 clean + deep Tremolo + Chorus + Delay + Reverb for a layered modulation texture.

Scene 02: CLASS A30 clean + Tremolo + Detune + Delay + Reverb for a wider, more spacious sound.

Scene 03: CLASS A30 clean + Tremolo + Vibrato + Delay + Reverb for a more pronounced vintage modulation character.

Preset 10 — CLASS A30 Reverse Delay

A clean-to-driven ambient preset combining Horseman OD, Chorus and Reverse Delay for spacious and atmospheric sounds.

Scene 01: Horseman OD + clean CLASS A30 + Chorus + Reverse Delay + Hall Reverb.

Scene 02: Same effects configuration with the Horseman OD turned off for a clean ambient sound.

Scene 03: Clean CLASS A30 with the Phase 90 activated for an additional swirling modulation texture.

Preset 11 — CLASS A30 Clean & T-Wah

A straightforward CLASS A30 preset that adds expressive wah and lead capabilities to the clean amp tone.

Scene 01: Clean CLASS A30 + Chorus + Room Reverb.

Scene 02: Same clean setup with T-Wah activated for expressive rhythmic and funk-style playing.

Scene 03: Crunch Distortion in front of the clean CLASS A30 + Reverb, creating a dedicated lead tone.

Preset 12 — CLASS A30 Chorus + Full-OD

A three-stage overdrive preset using the Full-OD (OCD-style) as a clean boost, low-gain drive and higher-gain lead sound.

Scene 01: Full-OD with Gain at 0 as a clean boost into the clean CLASS A30 + Chorus + Delay + Reverb.

Scene 02: Full-OD Gain at 9:00, introducing an additional stage of amp-like breakup while retaining the same effects.

Scene 03: Full-OD Gain at 12:00, providing enough additional gain for lead playing, with Chorus + Delay + Reverb.

Preset 13 — CLASS A30 G+ Harmonist

A harmonized lead preset combining TS-style boost, Full-OD, CLASS A30 and Harmonist, with different gain and harmony configurations.

Scene 01: TS boost + Full-OD + clean CLASS A30 + Harmonist in G/Em + Delay + Reverb.

Scene 02: Same setup with the TS turned off for a smoother, less pushed sound.

Scene 03: TS + Full-OD at full drive + Harmonist turned off, with Delay + Reverb for a powerful lead tone.

Preset 14 — CLASS A30 RAT

A dedicated RAT-style distortion preset covering lead, rhythm and riff applications.

Scene 01: RAT-style distortion into the clean CLASS A30 + Delay + Reverb for lead playing.

Scene 02: RAT-style distortion for rhythm and riffs, with Delay and Reverb turned off for a tighter response.

Scene 03: Same lead configuration as Scene 01, but with Delay turned off while keeping the Reverb active.

Preset 15 — CLASS A30 Blues DRG

A dynamic blues preset built around the CLASS A30, TS-style overdrive and ODR-style boost, providing three progressively higher levels of saturation and sustain.

Scene 01: TS-style overdrive with Gain at 0 and Volume at maximum + Tape Echo single-repeat slapback + Spring Reverb.

Scene 02: ODR-style overdrive activated as a boost, pushing the TS-style overdrive for increased saturation.

Scene 03: ODR-style overdrive activated + TS-style overdrive Gain at 12:00, producing a significantly more saturated version of the original tone with increased sustain.

Bonus — 2 Acoustic Simulator patches optimized for Stratocaster-style neck-pickup sounds.
