Red and Pink Improv Scrap Quilt - Finished Quilt

This is a listing for a custom one of a kind handmade finished quilt featuring premium cotton fabric. The quilt is custom designed by me. It has been pieced together improv style with a limited color palette and hand quilted for a special touch.

The quilt is quilted with straight lines with 50 wt Aurifil and then hand quilted with perle cotton thread in size 8 in red. Fabrics are a mix of very colorful premium fabrics with a scrappy backing. Due to the handmade and scrappy nature, there are small imperfections and variations which add to its charm.

The quilt measures 49 inches by 67 inches square, a smaller sized lap quilt or throw blanket for your bed. The quilt has a plush loft cotton batting which provides a softer blanket but a nice drape.

In keeping with the needs of everyday life, this quilt is machine washable (gentle cycle) followed by low heat drying. It has been washed once already. This would make a practical and thoughtful gift.

This quilt is new and unused. It was made and is kept in a smoke-free, dog and cat friendly home.
