Runner Blade Prosthetic Legs
A pair of below-the-knee blade-style prosthetic running legs, made from scratch! This is my first from-scratch asset.
Rigged and weight painted for the flat-foot Panda Base, but should work just fine with any other VRChat body base, provided you have some knowledge of unity and/or blender. I do not provide support for how to add these to your avatar beyond the basic instructions here.
Recommended shaders - Either the latest version of Poiyomi, or Mochie
Only 6076 tris per leg!
Package comes with:
- FBXs for both right and left leg (separate, in case you only want to use one)
- Base colour texture, UV map layout, normal map, masks for the black and silver parts matcaps, black matcap, and silver matcap
If adding in unity, simply drag and drop the armature of the prosthetic on to the armature of your avatar, then drag the hip bone to your avatar's hip bone, then leg to leg, knee to knee, ankle to ankle, and toe to toe. Note - You WILL need to take the avatar base into blender to remove the leg you're replacing, but if you've already done that, you can use this method to add the prosthetic in unity.
If adding in blender, simply use the CATs plugin to merge the armature of the prosthetic to your avatar's armature.
