FULGURITE
How far are you willing to go for the ones you love?
Luce Sullivan makes his yearly trip up to the isolated cabin he and his brother Michael bought decades before. He’s alone and drowning in grief, and he prepares to spend the time drunk to avoid thinking about the accident five years ago that took his brother from him and drove Michael’s child away after they survived a lightning strike. Jasper hasn’t made an effort to contact him once in all the years since they left, and Luce is afraid he lost both of them to that storm.
To his surprise, Jasper shows up in the middle of the night out of the blue. At first, Luce is elated. Is this finally the reconciliation he’s been yearning for all these years? But things turn more sinister as Luce realizes that Jasper isn’t quite right.
He grapples fear, isolation, and strange new feelings for Jasper, as a storm looms closer and closer, threatening a grand finale that neither of them are quite prepared for.
