Help for the Preacher

Help for the Preacher is a collection of work I’ve acquired throughout my twenty-eight years of preaching, and twenty-five years of pastoring including the first preachers’ workshop I taught Introduction to Sermon Development in 2016, it also includes multiple sermon development tools from at least three preachers’ workshops. A Communion message, a Christening guide, and how to bless a house are just a few things I addressed in this book. The Miracle of Christmas, two messages from the Old Testament are great tools for the holiday season, while Understanding Slavery in the bible is a must read. As a memorial message I’ve shared What does these stones mean; it gives great insight on biblical history. God is a God of order and I believe no preacher want to be out of order, so I also shared help with various issues like a Graveside Service for a Child, Funeral Suggestions, and a big issue today Addressing Mental Illness and much more. I do not claim to and never will act as if I know everything, but I do know whenever I stand to do a service in church, or at someone’s home or in a cemetery, or wherever I’m called to serve, I try to offer a professional service, be proficient in my service, and pray that God bless the service with his power.
