The Door Made Simple

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved." This Scripture-first, Trinitarian guide to John 10:7-9 unfolds Christ's great "I Am": the only entrance to the Father's fold, the Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep, the gate through which thieves cannot pass. Twelve chapters cover the great "I Am," why there is only one Door, the sheepfold of the Father, thieves and robbers, the Shepherd who dies for the flock, what it means to enter in, the daily rhythm of going in and out, finding pasture, the door of Noah's ark, the blood on the Passover doorposts, the Door that knocks at the heart, and the narrow gate and the shut door. Every chapter ends with a prayer addressed to the Father through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.
