Dr. LyChanda Brown is a Mississippi native born and raised in the rural town of Pinola, MS. She is a graduate of Mendenhall High School, JPS-Career Development Center, Hinds Community College, & Miracle University Inc.

With a quest to help others join the industry, Mrs. Brown is a cosmetology instructor at Hinds Community College where she also services as District Chair and Curriculum Coordinator. She is a multi-state CEU/Methods of Teaching Provider, the founder of LyChanda Brown Educates/E4 Mentoring Society & Co-Founder of The Education Connection Team. Mrs. Brown is also a Board Certified Electric Nail File Instructor. She has an Associate’s Degree in Marketing and currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.

Mrs. Brown is an advocate for continued education, standing on the belief that continued education is a major key to success. She says Ray Kroc said it best, “When you’re green, you’re growing. When you are ripe, you rot.”

She is passionate about preserving the beauty industry and imparting into the lives of others. She measures her success as an educator by the success and accomplishments of her students.

Her ultimate mission is to "Educate, Empower & Encourage Excellence". For one plants, another waters but its God that gives increase. I Corinthians 3:6-7.
