MOVE + LEARN: 10 Ways to Learn Without Sitting Still
Does your child learn better when they’re moving, touching, carrying, jumping or doing rather than sitting at a table?
MOVE + LEARN is a free visual starter pack designed to bring movement into everyday learning — particularly for busy bodies, sensory seekers and children who simply learn better by doing.
Created by a physiotherapist and homeschool mum, this pack combines early learning with playful movement in ways that are easy to set up at home.
Inside you’ll find 10 illustrated activities combining movement with phonics, early maths, spelling, memory, language and problem-solving. Each activity includes:
• A simple visual example
• Make it easier ideas for younger children or when a task feels tricky
• Make it harder ideas as your child progresses
• Optional sensory-friendly switches, including pushing, carrying, crawling and calmer alternatives
• A child choice page to help them choose how they’d like to learn
• A template for creating your own MOVE + LEARN games
Most activities use things you already have at home — paper, cushions, toys, a laundry basket or a soft ball.
Best suited to approximately ages 4–9.
There is no perfect way to use the pack. Pick an activity, follow your child’s lead, change the challenge when needed and repeat the ones they love.

This is the first MOVE + LEARN test pack. I’d love families to try it and help shape what comes next.
