Sodalite is named for its sodium content and is also known as the Poor Man's Lapis.Large deposits of Sodalite have been found in Greenland, Ontario, and British Columbia. It is believed that wearing sodalite can help organize the mind, promote rational thought, perception, and objectivity. Sodalite glows a vibrant orange color when exposed to UV light.
