Evan's Skull Hat (Small, Medium, Large)

This hat was designed for my husband, using Cascade 220 superwash worsted weight yarn so that is nice and thick. It has skulls and stars in the pattern, with the decreases creating a twist!
This is best for intermediate-level knitters or at least done some fair isle before.
Each repeat (10 sts) is about 1.25”
The cast on uses the tubular cast-on that you can find on Knitty.com:

Sizes: 
Small: 17-18" head
Medium: 19-22" head
Large: 23+" head

Yarn Weight: Light worsted wieght/DK - Cascade 220 superwash worsted in pictures

Gauge: 16 stitches and 16 rows = 2.5cm in pattern

Needle Size: US 2 - 2.75mm & US 3 - 3.25mm

Yarn Amount Needed: 137-201m (150-220 yards)
