Gideon Kane is a Confradia assassin without attachments. Growing up in the streets of New York, he learned that to fall in love is to be vulnerable. Or so he thought. He never expected that Jade would walk up to him, kiss him in the mouth, and change his life forever. Gideon tries to resist the temptation of such a beautiful girl. She’s too innocent, too young. Jade Reyes’ life is complicated. Her mother hates her, and her father is absent. A freshman at St. Bart’s all-girls college, she never expected to fall in love with a stone-cold killer. Jade is simply going through the motions when her friends dare her to cut loose and kiss the first man she sees. Jade never expected to fall in love with someone like Gideon.
