My Roots, My Story, My Growth
Your story explains many parts of who you are, but it does not have to determine your entire future.
“My Roots, My Story, My Growth” is an educational workbook designed to help you understand how your family, culture, experiences, and decisions have shaped the person you are today.
Throughout four meaningful weeks, you will explore everyday psychology, emotional intelligence, identity, adaptation, belonging, boundaries, self-efficacy, and personal growth through relatable stories, simple psychological concepts, guided reflections, and practical activities.
INSIDE THIS WORKBOOK:
• Week 1: My Emotional Roots
Discover how you learned to express—or hide—sadness, anger, fear, and affection.
• Week 2: When You Leave, Something Changes Inside You
Reflect on the internal changes that can occur when you leave a familiar place to study, work, or begin a new life.
• Week 3: Changing Does Not Mean Forgetting
Learn how to preserve the best parts of your roots, transform what no longer supports your well-being, and create something healthier for your future.
• Week 4: Who Am I Choosing to Become?
Strengthen your self-efficacy and begin building the person you want to become through small, intentional decisions.
YOU WILL ALSO FIND:
• Relatable and meaningful stories
• Psychological concepts explained in clear, accessible language
• Questions that connect each lesson to your own life
• Dedicated space for writing and reflection
• Emotional-intelligence exercises
• A practical challenge for each week
• Beginning and closing self-assessments
• A 30-day personal-growth plan
• A final letter-writing activity to integrate what you learned
