I have a confession. I stay up at night sometimes, tucked into bed, designing beanies in my head. It’s like counting sheep for me, except instead of boring me to sleep, the excitement of a new design seems to keep me up longer. The Diamonds and Braids Beanie was one of these designs. I wanted to combine two different types of patterns to create one unique beanie.

This beanie is made on circular needles which means less finishing upon completion. The ribbing flows into the diamond portion which sets up the beanie for the braided cable pattern. Both the diamond portion and braided cable portion have written instructions as well as graphs.
